I have been reading about the 3.3 pound notebooks with Intel processors and
six-hour battery life and they sound impressive. I want to use it in a
vehicle with GPS / Mapping software and will need decent speaker output
(software provides voice instructions) and battery life. Using my Compaq
Presario for this running off an inverter didn't last but a couple of hours
with the engine off.
Screen size may also prove to be a issue as I will need to glance over an
"read" the map from time to time.
Any reports based upon personal experience would be appreciated.
Go to leog.net - best forum for Fujitsu P series laptops and ultraportables
with lots of good info and resources.
On all P-series laptops sound from the speakers is thin - it's a small
laptop, you know - but good enough for speech. Other than that - great
machines. I've been using the previous model (P5020D) for over two years
now w/o any problems.
