Upgrade Thinkpad T60

Hi all

One simply question:

Possible upgrading Thinkpad T60 15" 32bit screen Lcd with Ips panel
and Hdd with ssd 480gb, and cpu with? I don't know!

Core 2 Duo is also possible.

I'm not sure if it is possible to upgrade that model's panel to IPS but
you should be able to upgrade that to an SSD, though you're only limited
to SATA1 speeds I believe.

For the CPU, I'm not sure if you can still find any of these ones that
came with the T60:

There's a kit currently in development for upgrading the T60 with
modern hardware, which includes replacing the screen with a modern
OLED one:

The SSD is easy. As already mentioned, the 64bit Core 2 Duo CPUs
work in the original motherboard. Or via the replacement
motherboard in that kit you can have an Intel i7-1165G7 CPU. The
latter wouldn't be any cheaper than buying a new laptop though.
