p2-2.kev009.com has many links to ftp://ftp.pc.ibm.com/pub/pccbbs/xxxx,
but under pub there isn't anymore pccbbs ....
I've searched PCCBBS in Google groups, found some links, all of them
down ....
I've found a message PS2Cheers mirror is back online, I tried
ftp://ps2cheers.homedns.org:2121 but no connection :-(

There's an *official* complete and updated mirror ?

A friend of mine is looking for 6576-35H stuff and I promise it to
help ...

Hi!

There's always http://greyghost.mooo.com/pccbbs/ which houses the
mirror made in 1999.

probably not "official", but maybe helpful:

ftp://john.ccac.rwth-aachen.de/pub/mirrors/ps2supersite.homedns.org/pccbbs

Until my provider kicks me off, I can mirror something you need ... I
have (theorically) unlimited webspace ...

Always?
There's one web lesson I've learnt over the years:
If you encounter an interesting archive, run a "wget"
against it. It might be gone tomorrow, and one might
need it the day after tomorrow.

If you mirror on your mass storage, first, you can always find a webspace
and put the stuff there ;-)
Obviously, backup, backup, backup :-D
I agree, you need a file just when it's unavailable ...

Hi

In article <Zfudnaj36eT57ELX...@westnet.com.au>,
supe...@libero.it says...

the ps2cheers mirror site was taking down after a group of hackers (with
ip range from china) tried to break into it.

on Sunday, am going to be moving the news server to is final destination
the newly built workshop. should take no more than 30 minutes.
