For the past several years, I've been following (and sometimes posting) CSIPH via Google Groups. Now our Google overlords are saying that Google Groups will be dropping their Usenet feeds on February 22, 2024, so I'll need to find another newsgroup server before that happens. What's your favorite newsgroup server to use these days?

Hi Rick,

Ask Kevin. He'll set you up. Works a charm (for CSIPH anyway).

Yes, Kevin set me up on nntp.csiph.com quite some time ago, and I see
that it does not rely on Google as a feed. I'll use this unless someone
has an even better suggestion.

I do appreciate CSIPH newsgroup from Kevin. But I'd like to surf a lot
more of it without the throttling and Al-Gore-Ismic "Mother May I?"
aspect of Gooble.

What are folks using to search the NG? I'm just keeping up with the
current massages, but I've turned to [the Dark Side] web based searches.
Which are controlled by dark forces...

I need to do something here, maybe some time in 2024 I will set up a WWW
gateway to the news server. I have retention to around 2003 for CSIPH,
other comp groups 2011 or so. Would like to crawl G to get the rest
some time.

I use google groups too. I would be interested in knowing a way to connect as well.
