Upon doing some fiddling with my IBM U/W SCSI-2 this morning, I
discovered something is amok with the IBM FTP site again. As you know
(or may not know) they killed the old ftp.pc.ibm.com and replaced it
with ftp.software.ibm.com.
Well now all directories seem empty when you browse to them on
ftp.software.ibm.com. Some files are still available however, like the
Model 95 Type 4 reference image is still there, although you can't see
it in a directory listing. A direct link will still work...although not
sure for how long. This is surely a sign of the end. :\ Thank God for
Louis Ohland's Ardent Tool site...it actually includes the file I was
looking for, instead of just linking to IBM's FTP site. :)
It is very important that we as a community hoard as many of these files
as possible. I am in the process of assembling all of the files known
to man under a central repository. It's not complete yet, but with your
help, I think we can do it.
Right now you can view my list at
http://ps2supersite.homedns.org:1987/files
This is a very temporary setup, it will get much cleaner in the future.
To post any disk images that you have that are not listed there, you may
post them to:
ftp://ps2supersite.homedns.org/incoming
Space is virtually unlimited, so don't hold back anything. Make a new
directory of your name (like the ones already there), and put your stuff
in that directory. Please include a description of what the file is in
a text file, clear for me to find. :)
I offer a very big thank you in advance for any who can assist.

Or, maybe I need an ftp search tool.
I was SO careful to save Rev 08.

to include the type 4 complex flash bios updates. I now have disks for
revisions 5, 8, and 10 available.
It is imparative that we get these files into a common repository, IBM
is fixing to turn the lights out for good.
