This is from a Model 50, 8550-021.

000000 00FE 201

Actually, since Jim got a Model 50 board from Dave, I've put the Model
50 board I got from Niels into a Model 70 case. So, all I really know
is that it's not a 50Z planar.

I've tried several batteries, so I'm guessing the 201 is asking to
have the memory re-seated.

The original 286 chip seems to be installed correctly. Cooling fan
spins and LED lights up on power supply. I got a floppy drive
installed and the riser for ESDI drive, but no hard drive installed.

I'll try a few more floppy drives next.

I found socket for SIMM #2 cracked. I tweaked SIMM into place with a
small screw driver and applied super glue to socket.
I got the standard 161 and 163.
I'm thinking about replacing all the stickers on it and just calling
it a Model 50. Who's to know other than you all.
Right now, it's my favorite computer, but I guess all you all knows
how that feels.
Bill <---wondering if anyone's ever seen the co-processor for this.

Hi!

An 80287? Yeah, I have a few. I'd really like to see an 8087 though. It
would make the perfect upgrade for my already supercharged Model 30 XT.

I've been meaning to get to the even older stuff, but I'll send off
that video riser card tomorrow!
I've got a bunch of 5150s and a couple of clone XT in the garage I've
yet to look through. My accountant has more he wants to sell me, but
I won't see him until March.

The V20 is a replacement for the 8088 CPU. What the 8086 version
of the Model 25 & Model 30 need is a V30. Still have some spares of
those if anyone is interested.

too bad - i gave away my last 4/5 8087 last year.
they were boxed intel chips i scavenged/bought at the local IT dump.
