I recently started having problems when booting up my
mod 70. I keep getting a 10482 error which I know has
to do with the ESDI controller card. Sometimes the
computer will allow me to boot up but most times I get
the error. Do I really need to get another ESDI card
or is there something I can try so that I do not waste
any money? Or should I get a IDE card and convert?
Anxiously awaiting any suggestions.
Thanks.

In article <4ela19$t...@damage.usa1.net>, "pdb...@usa1.com"
<pdb...@usa1.com> writes
Although this code usually means that the controller is faulty, it can
also indicated a problem with the drive. It is always worth reseating
the card and checking the cables.
Hope this helps,
