Zagnut. But my RomMax single burner is safely ensconced in a 9533. I
have successfully read from some devices. Now I have dug out my Bytek
BUV-3B Ultraviolet Multiprom Eraser for further adventures in deep
S.H.I.T. that
may prove interesting.

EPROM's be fun ;->

I sprung for a SuperPro/Z a while ago. Their burning software required
Windoze though, but works well enough and the programmer is pretty fast.

And I have just written a ROM library page *lol* It will be available on
http://sasbor.freestarthost.com/ - as soon as I get the database to work
with my script.

<snippety>

Saskia, is it OK if I mirror what you have on my big FTP archive?

BTW, I think I'll make everyone drool by saying that I"m the proud
owner of a Data I/O UniSite system. Lots of accessories with it.

In fact: If anyone's got things like PLCC-packaged PROMs for PS/2
and similar classic computing goodies that they cannot easily read, but
want archived, you need only mail them to me. I will read, archive, and
return the originals to you at no charge.

That way, they can benefit everyone.

Keep the peace(es).

Hi Saskia,
Maybe I can renew the call for the last Tribble microcode. I
smoked my only copy putting it backwards into the reader. Letme look up
the FRU again...

If Saskia and/or "Dr. Jim" Jim Shorney is/are prepared to act as the "Master
Site" host(s) for ROM imaging, and Bruce Lane (is he the offspring of Batman
and Superman's girlfriend?) is prepared to provide a device-to-image copying
service, this could spread some of the load quite nicely. What say you all,
especially the current "host" providers?
