Trying to find any web hits or NG hits for the ez-utilities for AIX 1.3,
and they are slim to none. Did NOBODY ever use them?

ezbackup
ezcustom
ezinstall
ezmkverify & ezverify
ezfilter
ezupdate

Today, I ran EZBACKUP and piped the results into BACKUP to make a
"complete" AIX 1.3 system backup. It ran for about 2 hours and gave me
one relatively full DC2120 tape written using a PS/2 ITBU.

Great, where's the user's guide?

None that I can see. However, the basic information provided by "man
ezbackup" told me everything I needed to know: ezbackup is a fairly
simple script used to produce a list of files to backup with minimum
effort. I used one of the examples provided verbatim to make my
"system" backup. It's not as slick as mksysb (which appeared in AIX
version 3), but it got the job done.
