Is this do able?

I found this old modem:
IBM 300/1200/2400 Internal Modem /A, Model PS24B-2U Made by OKI. P/N 65X1253
EC/N A27702.
Info @ OKI is nil. IBM is scanty, no driver information.
I have downloaded the diagnostic and reference diskettes for the 8556_8557
from the IBM website. But I have no other related media for the computer.
When I drop the card into the slot and start the machine, It goes to
auto-configure mode then displays the following error message:

WARNING The description file for the adapter in slot 1 was not found. Insert
the correct diskette then press enter. After the system has been configured
go to the main menu then select "copy an option diskette"

Any one have any ideas on this, i.e. where I might find or configure a setup
diskette with the appropriate drivers? &/or installing a compatible ISA
modem for my machine?

Thanx,

Cyberverde

Get QBMCA, ID the card, then download the ADF for it.
