I've just spent all evening trying to figure out a way to recuperate a
friend's data. She was running Win95, then all "disappeared" she says. She
then searched her C: drive and saw there was nothing. Rebooted. System would
not reboot, corrupted c:\windows directory...and here I am tonight.
I hate doing this kinda stuff now, but she's an angel and had quite a bit of
data on there.
I can boot the machine in DOS (c:\windows is almost all gone), but there's
only so much I can undelete with the dos undelete command. Sheeee. I don't
know what went wrong.
Does anyone know of any other, more powerful, undelete utilities I can run
from DOS?
Thanks for any help,
