SB sound card and Wireless headphones

I got some wireless headphones for xmas and they work great on my HiFi AMP
but not so good with my PC soundcard.

The reception is nowhere near as good. Does anyone here have much experience
with PC soundcards and wireless headphones?

Can anyone recommend a solution to the speaker and headphones coming out of
one Sound card port issue? Is a Y-Splitter enough?

I have a SB Live Player 1024 card and Sony Headphones.
