I just purchased a Reveal Sound FX Wave 32 sound card. The instalation left
much to be desired, but I got it set up. I wanted to ask what the tech's
thought of this card. Is it one that is widely used or supported? What
problems have there been with it, and what can I expect in the way of
performance compared to other comperable cards like the GUS ultra max, sb AWE,
etc.? Any info would be great.

Also, are there any drivers for 95 or NT? If so, where?

If I am not mistaken, the SoundFx wave 32 is Reveal's OEM version of an Ensoniq Soundscape.
You can find information and drivers for the latter at www.ensoniq.com and ftp.ensoniq.com
Beware that there are different revisions of the card, and they might need different drivers. A
possible way to know the revision of the card is to see if the mixer utilities that came with the
drivers have tone controls or not : tone controls= REV A; no tone controls = REV C ?
Anyway, I hope this helps.

Now that Creative Labs is buying Reveal, expect much better
driver support! Although this is going to be Creative's
Cheapo line of products!

They may be "cheaper" but they will probably be better than Creative's crap
because they use Ensoniq chipsets. Creative makes junk!

Hmmm...CL would be wiser to dump their own cards as cheapo products,
and sell the Reveal cards as the good stuff ;)
