First, Apple doesn't make software that will install itself like some
worm or virus, either for Macs or Windows machines. I've installed QT
on both Macs and PCs and you always have to explicitly agree to the EULA.

Second, you state that you built this computer yourself, and you didn't
explicitly install QuickTime for Windows. You either installed it along
with some other software without realizing it or someone installed it
for you.

Third, you say you don't want to go to any trouble to get rid of it.
Then I must conclude that you are a troll. Apple isn't going to remove
it for you, nor will anyone in the comp.sys.mac.* newsgroups. If you
want it gone you'll have to figure it out for yourself.

Fourth, if you aren't troll or an idiot, you might want to direct
yourself to the Apple forum "QuickTime for Windows"
<http://discussions.info.apple.com/WebX?1...@14.KWdaaQXHlWU.1@.ee6ba94>
maybe there someone will actually care about what you think.

Fifth, what made you think that posting to a Macintosh newsgroup for a
complaint about software for your Windows PC was a good idea? You should
have posted your "Quicktime complaint" to comp.sys.ibm.pc.software, it's
off-topic here.
