Yes, I've heard from them, I've seen them and I also sold them. (I'm doing
that in my freetime)
Belinea builds quite fine monitors, but the more cheaper models are bad IMO.
The top models of one
screen size (for example the Belinea 10.70.50, 17", 95kHz) are very good.
I have not seen the 19" monitors, but I saw 15, 17 and 21 (the more
expensive version), and they were
nice to see.
Another brand, which is not very expensive, just like Belinea, is CTX. I
think their website is

Has anyone heard from this German Brand? I was curious to know about their
19" Monitor since I've been told they build good Monitors.

pretty good build quality, but normally .28 dot pitch, which is poor.
my mum has a 15" belina and although its ok, its not great
the same goes for my friend who has a 17" CTX, which again is .28 dp
ok, but not great.

I own a 17" multimedia version of this make. All I can say is that it's value
for money. One complain I have is that it does not like working at 50Hz
refresh rate, which means that I could not use it for the output of my MPEG
card.

One final note - I don't think it is a German brand. It is from one of the
Eastern European countries (Romania, I think).

Whatever you do don't buy a 10.70.35 as these a really crap. I've had 4 of
the buggers and each one has blown within a week. ( My trusty 15" monitor
works fine on my system )

Don't know about the 19 inch. The top 17 inch ( .25 pitch diamodtron
tube I think) came top in a UK mag test I read recently.
