Trident Video Card

Hi,

I have a problem... hmmm sounds familiar?

Well I have this old trident video card that I want to use. Its SVGA I
believe, and has 1mb memory... but the darn thing wont boot with the PC. It
used to, but all of a sudden, the PC has started shutting off when the BIOS
finishes checking its system. The PC boots fine with its built in video
card. And I have tried disabling the built in video card of the PC, and it
doesnt help.

I am trying this on the following system.

Apricot MS 540 (MT type system)
200mhz Pentium
96Mb RAM
Cirrus Logic 5434, 1mb RAM (Built in)
Trident TVGA8900C (I think, that is what it says on the chip) 1mb RAM.

Please someone help me =)
