I don't know how to tell if the video card on my machine is
a VGA card or CGA card. The previous owner told me it's a VGA
card. But when I run MSD under DOS6.0, it says the video
adapter is CGA. Does it mean it's actually a CGA card? the monitor
is a monochrome one. How can I see if it's a CGA card or VGA card?
The reason I ask this question is that I'm thinking buying
X-win3.1 if it's VGA card.
Another question is how to see the CPU clock frequency. I looked at
the CPU. it's intel one but doesn't print out the clock speed. Is
there any diagnostic software to check the cPU?
email to this account is preferred.
Thank.
