Please help!
thanks in advance

When I installed them in a PC (about 4+ years ago) there was only one
jumper to set, 1st or 2nd. I set the jumper, installed the card, and
booted the system from floppy. No install software I can remember.
Do a dir c: or d: and see what happens.
To know if the system even acknowledges the cards, you should see a '+'
in the upper right of the screen. This simulates the LED on a "real"
hard drive.
BTW, I just came in possession of a Hardcard 40. Problem is, it only shows
20M capacity on a checkdisk.
Does anybody know of a ROM BIOS location to go to do a low level format
in this puppy?
Jim
The '+' only occurs if that software driver is loaded.

All I remember from the manual is that you have to use their software to
format/partiion the drives.

The 10 and 20 MB HardCards have no device driver. Device drivers became
neccessary with the HardCard 2 series.
