Hello. I just got a drive without any info on jumper settings or Drive specs.
The person who gave it is looking for specs ...but I don't have much faith in
him. Can anyone help? I need Jumper settings for Master/Slave... and Specs.

My Bios autodetecting is not working. I beleive that it's the jumpersettings
that is messing it up.

Does anyone know what the jumpersettings and specs for this drive is. I have
no idea what to put into the bios, or why my bios will no even autodetect this
drive.

Please reply by e-mail if possible, thanks

Call 408 432 1700 or 800 262 9867.
One of those numbers has recorded messages with that info for your Maxtor.
