Okay, stupid question, I know. But I've yet to find anywhere I can
actually buy this, and I see it recommended for everyone wanting to
overclock (yes I'm considering this...). I have a heatsink which came
on my DX2-50. Heatsink compound is something I have to buy separately?

It's usually a white grease (what it is I don't know) that, when applied
between the component and heat sink, vastly improves the flow of heat
from the chip to the heat sink. It is available from most electronic
supply or hobby stores. CBE...@ix.netcom.com (Chris Behler)

It's basically a thermally conductive grease. Radio Shack carries it.
