I have an ECS p5hxb board rev 1.1. According to ECS tech support the board does
support the P55C chip. However when when using the settings given by them the
computer does not boot (board works fine with a p90 chip.) Tech support has been
unresponsive to this problem so I was hoping that perhaps someone here can offer
a solution (don't have any other boards lying around to test the MMX chip
itself.) Thanks

There are 5 jumpers to consider on the rev 1.1 board. One is the core
voltage, and 4 of the others dont know what they do. Have you set them?
Is the bus clock right?

I have an p55c and the same revision as you, so eventually, it will
work... Michael
