I was just about to go ahead and purchase a Micron P5-90 Powerstation but
after having picked up the current (June) issue of PC World I'm seriously
rethinking my choice of PC vendor. In an article about PC Vendors'
Reliability and Service, Micron was ranked at the bottom for rate of DOA
components, repair time and overall reliability. Despite these ratings,
the article also reported that 88% of the respondents said that they'd bu
another Micron machine. The article attributed this seeming discrepancy
by noting the quick tech support response and personal touch of the company.
I'm posting this becuase I know there are quite a few Micron owners out
there surfing on the Net and I'd like to hear your opinions on the above
as well as your overall impressions of your systems. I think that e-mail
might be more appropriate than newsgroup followups but perhaps other
might be interested in this information. So if you have a Micron system
I'd appreciate it if you could help me out by firing off a quick
evaluation of your overall satisfaction and experience with your system.
