I don't think it can be done. DIVX only allows you a 48 hour window to watch
the movie before requiring you to pay a license fee again. If your DVD
player doesn't support DIVX, it is unable to verify that the license fee is
current.
Some DVD players are specifically designed to accomodate DIVX, but many are
not. If the latter is the case for you, you're just out of luck.
I think the best thing you can do is to pretend that DIVX doesn't even exist.
It's a bullshit proprietary format that will cost you a lot of money. DIVX
will be gone soon, but not soon enough.

Heh. Only dvd players sold by Circuit City and their run-offs even play
DIVX. If anyone here is wondering what is up with DIVX and haven't heard
much about it, just head over to www.yahoo.com and do a search for "DIVX".
See the results? 1 site run by circuit city and like 20 anit-divx sites.
Nothing but bad news.
