I've a 21" monitor (Digital VRC21-Hx) which is a southern hemisphere
monitor - I live in Australia. I'm moving to the U.S. soon, and would
like to take my computer system with me.

The monitor supports 100-120Vac power, but I vaguely remember hearing
that monitors used in the southern hemisphere are different from
those used in the northern hemisphere, because the Earth's magnetic
field is different.

I don't really know anything about this stuff (I'm a software guy).
What will be the effect of using the monitor in the N. hemisphere?
If it's effectively unusable, is there any way I can convert it, or
will I need to get a new monitor?

Please email any replies, as I don't read this conference on a
regular basis.

Thanks a lot,

Peter Hunt
