Here is a list of computer component dealers that are accessable via the
internet. These are companies that sell individual components such as
modems, disk drives and PCI/VLB/ISA cards. I do not include dealers
that only sell systems though many of these dealers will also sell
systems. Unless otherwise noted these dealers will give price quotes and
take orders via email. Comments, additions and corrections to this list
are welcome. If you have a favorite dealer that is not listed here or
want to put in a good or bad vote for a dealer or if you've had trouble
getting a price quote or placing an order from one of these dealers then
please email me. If you are a dealer and wish to be included then please
send me an entry formatted similar to those below.
Discussion about the choice of newsgroups for posting is also welcome.
I read these groups and see posts about "Who has the best price..." and
"Where can I get..." on all of them. This post is an effort to reduce
the frequency of such postings and to save people some time when they
want to make a purchase. Since this article is crossposted, only one
article is actually sent. You can always put the Subject line in your
kill file :-)
Note that I have never personally ordered from most of these companies.
