Hi,
I make up my mind about using a RF pc-keyboard. Unfortunately those of
Logitech are only available in bundle with a mouse (however I use a
trackball). Are those keyboards ok? How long do the batteries work? Are
there some other keyboards you would advise?

Thanks for short communication

Markus,

You might find these reviews somewhat helpful:
http://www.dansdata.com/cordless.htm (somewhat outdated, perhaps)

I really like a wireless mouse which is why I have the Logitech
wireless keyboard too. My feeling is that the mouse batteries last
about 6 months but I have not measured this. The keyboard batteries
probably would last longer but I always replace the lot. You get a
warning message before the batteries run out completely and the mouse
is still useable for a few hours. You may also like to investigate the
A4 Tech unit
(http://www.a4tech.com.cn/netscape/a4techenglish/rfkb-5.htm).
It is significantly cheaper than the Logitech but it also works well.
I have both and am happy with them although I find the A4-Tech
significantly uglier. In addition to the on-screen display of the
status of the "lock" keys as used by Logitech the A4-Tech has 3 lights
on the receiver which are equivalent to the lights on a normal
keyboard. A review of the A4 Tech is at
http://www.dansdata.com/rfkb5.htm which also has a link to a review of
the Logitech.
