Quest for Glory I (VGA)

I just received the new Quest for Glory I today ( July 6th ). The
graphics are better than the original in the way that its now in VGA
but not much more. They did use claymation for some of the monsters
and characters, however alot of the look retarded or something. The
problem I'm having is that my system keeps locking up! I'm stuck at
just before sunset on the 2nd day. I can go places, but every now and
then it will just lock up ( especially when I try to rest or cast
magic ). Has any one gotten this game yet and/or is experiencing
problems? I've tried making a boot disk with nothing on it except the
mouse driver. I've tried enabling/disabling extended memory and
joystick usage. I've even tried two different versions of mouse
drivers. I have a 386 sx running at 25 mhz with a 165 meg hard drive.

I'd got a copy earlier, and have been having quite some fun with it. I've got
about 180/500 points, and haven't had any problems with it yet.

Perhaps you should try reinstalling it again.

P.S. The music are pretty good in this game.
