now has an Official anonymous FTP site.
FTP over to ftp.uwp.edu and check out /pub/msdos/games/id for all the latest
and greatest Id Software products. We even have a directory for all the great
home-brew (/pub/msdos/games/id/home-brew) add-ons that have been (or will be)
developed for our games.
Users wishing to upload to the home-brew directory should place their files in
/pub/incoming/id. David and the fine people at uwp.edu will scan the incoming
directory for new files every now and then and move your addition to the
correct place.
As you read this there is an updated press release for DOOM (doompr3.txt) and a
file'o'screenshots from the pre-alpha version of the game sitting at
ftp.uwp.edu. What are you waiting for...FTP over and grab the goods!
