pro. for my team and pro. for the computer.) Why is that my players aren't
worth a damn? I mean, if I pass it to them, it goes by their stick.
If the puck
comes to them, they can't stop it. Trying to give one of them a lead pass
is worthless. Is there some type of setting or something or is this just the
way it is?

I have the same problem with these cheeseballs!!! You have to pass
directly to their stick before they'll even try and hit the puck!
I pass to these skating pieces of meat, only as a last resort. I
haven't found away around this, except for turning on "puck hog" which
gives you control of the player nearest the puck. However, I found
this mode very confusing and aggravating to play, so I stick with
swearing and spitting at my team with the hopes, my abuse changes
the AI.
Other bitches:
Who the fark is the computer coach?! I've lost count on how
many times this qweeb has decided to substitute me just as
I've broken away and am about to go 1-1 w/ the goalie, or
I'm four feet from the net got a beautiful angle, about to
slap the crap out of it, when BANG off I go skating to the
bench!!! Other coaching gems, include pulling my goalie out
because I'm a goal down, and have a powerplay going. Now,
this might be a good strategy with one minute left in the
third period, but I seriously question it's effectiveness
three minutes into the the first period. To make matters
worse, in order to get my goalie back in the net, I have
to call a timeout, which won't come until the next faceoff.
This means I have to resort to slashing the shart out of
anything that moves. When they've finally scraped the dead
body off the ice, (I tend to get carried away) I've now
not only lost my powerplay, but will also end up giving the
visitor team a powerplay later on... A real pisser!!
Ok, so I could coach my own team, but that's a farking headache I
don't want... Perhaps there should be an option that allows me to
coach only my player, as in decide when to put him on the bench.
Another nicety would be to have the coach ask me, "I'm going to
be a dolt and pull your goalie is this ok?!?..yes/no".
I must admit of the three attempts this company has had at
creating this hockey game, this has been the only one, which
I've spent more than an hour or so playing. The first two
wgh's were pathetic. This one still has some design flaws,
but is still somewhat playable...ESPECIALLY against another
human... I'd be interested in hearing about any patches
that may/may not be released.
