I am looking for a copy of a game called Robot Odyssey for MS-DOS.
Robot Odyssey was an 'educational' game put out by The Learning Company --
(the same company that does the Reader Rabbit series). The objective of
the game was to wire all sorts of digital circuits inside of 4 or 5 robots
to make them accomplish tasks of increasing difficulty. The game is VERY
good at teaching basic digital design (and, or, not, flip-flops, xor
circuits), but The Learning Company stopped producing them (I would guess
because it was too difficult as an 'educational' game to be popular).
I've called TLC, and they say that they can't sell me a copy -- If anyone
out there has a copy of this game, I would appreciate it if you would contact
me. It used to be sold through B. Dalton Software Etc. and Radio Shack about
four years ago.
Be sure to email me if you have any information -- I don't read this
newsgroup on a regular basis.
Thanks,
Xeno (Gary Snethen)
