Strike Commander CD-Rom

Has anyone heard if Origin is going to put SC on CD-Rom? Perhaps an
enhanced version with lots of speech? That would be neat!

I heard from OSI in AOL, they said they are working on it.
but that's not a guarantee. since as they metioned, even U7 series
WILL NOT be in CD-ROM because of the highly intensive disk access
that U7 has. if however, SC has a highly intensive disk access,
it probably will end as U7 fate.

I haven't got my SC yet, so i can't compare SC to U7.

People like Ross Erickson have said it will be enhanced, but the
Official Word (TM) from the Origin rep on GEnie is that a) they are just
beginning production on it, so they are not ready to say anything about it,
except for b) which is that they are projecting a Christmas release date.
Don't hold your breath, I can see it coming already: Strike Commander CD: The
Multimedia assault begins Christmas '93! - er - '94 - er - Spring '95...
