I've got a small problem with the second mission on the Alaska
job (Where you have to help the New Syberians). It seems
I can't carry enough ordenance to kill every Tank and Runway,
and my wingwan is totally useless. He only wants to kill krates.
I'm so desperate, I'm attacking ZSU's with my vulcan and saving
the few bombs I have for the T-72's.
Any hints?

This mission is close to impossible. There are about 7 Abrams and 4
ZSUs that you have to kill, plus the runway (and a extremely annonying
SAM site). Given that with four rocket pods you have only 18 shots,
you better be damn good at tank busting, otherwise you are never going
to make it. And even if you do, the game is likely to think that you
haven't killed everything, even when you have done so. I couldn't get
past this probably bug, despite repeating the mission over and over
again, so I cheated and edited my savegame file and skipped a couple
of missions. I wasted more than 5 hours trying to get past this one.

If you really want to try and get by it, you have to get very very
good and hitting things with rockets. For me, I found it was easier to
hit things if I approached my target in a steeper dive than the manual
recommends. With a shallow dive, you are likely to undershoot or
overshoot your target. I slowly dive in at the slowest possible speed
I can managed (sometimes with air brakes on), shoot one salvo and pull
up as fast as I can. I can now hit a vehicle with about 80% accuracy
if I am patient (i.e. I line up the target well in advance and don't
shoot unless the target fills a substantial portion of the targeting
ring).

BTW, your wingman will attack ground targets, it is just that he or
she is really slow about it. E.g., in the time it takes me to knock
off four tanks a distance apart, my wingman may have attacked one
ground target.

Yeah, this is a tough one...mostly because the mission briefings in SC can
be too damn vauge at times.
First, take out the AA (the two brown units on the right and left of the
runway). Then, use durandals or lots of iron to take out the runway and
hanger. Remember, with pure iron, you will have to drop quite a few before
you get a victim cam shot indicating that the runway has been destroyed.
Now, forget the other armor and go to the next nav point and use your
4 sidewinders to take out the F-15s. You might have to use guns, because
they get close real fast, and missles are useless at close range most of
the time.
Now you should still have at least 2 bombs left (I prefered maveriks on
this mission...made things much easier but was more costly). Take out the
target with the locked AA symbol. You should get a "mission complete." Now
just fly home.
So in short, don't destroy everything, pack some mavericks for the AA, and
durandels for the runway.

P.S. I've heard cluster bombs can take out multiple soft armor targets. This
may be the key to getting more armor.

Well after i just skipped this mission and finished SC, I though I would
try winning at Ace level... And I got to this mission again...I packed
MK-12s for the Runway, and FFARs for the armor and ZSUs... After
nailing the runway, I mopped up the ZSUs and armor using alomst all
of my FFARs and went on to the 2nd waypoint... I used the remaining
FFARs on the ZSU's and the SAM site and gunned down the Tank with
twenty mike mike... I didn't think it would work but you can kill
tanks with your vulcan....weird huh?

No... Israelis did it in the Yom Kippur War, if I'm not mistaken, using
their teeny Skyhawks.

Now, I wiped out an entire dock with my Vulcan cannon in F-15 SE3... Now
THAT'S weird. :-) (cranes, docks, everything)
