Worst. Year. Evah.

For PC wargaming, that is.

Gotta be the smallest amount in raw dollars I ever spent on PC
wargaming, and the return on investment wasn't exactly a stellar one.

The one game that stands out is WARSHIP COMBAT: NAVIES AT WAR, a product
that met / exceeded all my expectations.

I guess I can join Mr. Kreuzer with my WOTY pick:

1. WARSHIP COMBAT: NAVIES AT WAR
2. ...
3. ...

Here's hoping '10 will bring a few more titles as good as WCNAW.

oddly feminine-looking underpants and a syringe full of acid, a man
whose own father had alerted the U.S. Embassy in Nigeria, a traveler
whose ticket was paid for in cash and who didn't check bags, whose visa
renewal had been denied by the British, who had studied Arabic in Al
Qaeda sanctuary Yemen, whose name was on a counterterrorism watch list,
who can we catch?

We are headed toward the moment when screeners will watch watch-listers
sashay through while we have to come to the airport in hospital gowns,
flapping open in the back."

after reading this, I did a bit of searching about WCNAW. I'm about
ready to pull the trigger. Though $40 is a bit for rolling the dice....

Yep, on Steam a game like that would go for only $9.99 max.
