I was curious. This appears to have just FPS written all over it.
But if the enemy AI is advanced in its coordinating, etc... it may end
up being a strategy game also. In other words, the point of the game
wouldn't be to puzzle your way through the game, but to use tactics to
defeat the enemy AIs. Depending on what you do, the enemy can adjust.
Did anyone try the demo and comment on this?

I'm currently playing the game. While it DOES have what I would
consider to be significantly better AI than other FPS games, it still
ultimately plays out like a FPS.
The enemy will attempt to sneak up on you and flank you if possible,
but the end result is almost always a face to face firefight with lots
of strafing and other typical FPS maneuvers.
That being said, there *are* tactical elements to the game that have
been facilitated by the designers. Many of the levels can be played
equally well in different ways. You can approach the level from a
stealth or Rambo standpoint, and either way is acceptable and
supported by the environment.
