Caesar 3 - Imports Question

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

I have all the ratings I need to finish the Quaestor scenario except
Prosperity.
Ratings advisor says I need to improve my housing. I have all small
casas that won't evolve because they all want pottery. I am trading with
both available cities - one buys weapons and sells clay & pottery. Well,
I need to import that pottery and they won't sell it to me!!! They buys
tons of weapons but always leave the dock without selling me clay OR
pottery! (Yes, I have both checked under Trade Advisor to be imported.)

I can't win this mission until I get that pottery! Any ideas on what's
going on?

Do you have an empty warehouse near the dock(s) that Accepts or Gets pottery?
You can also try to import clay to make your own .

I had the same problem on the peaceful Procurator level, when trying to
import timber and oil. I could import 2 timber and 10 oil and then they
wouldn't sell me anymore. Also the city I was trading with had a blue
flag
on the empire map, but I could open a trade route anyway.

Just import clay and make your own pottery. I too am
on this level and have all ratings except prosperity and i have housing up to
large insulae. When i click on house im told to put in gardens or p[laza.
I have and houses surrounded with them but i still get that message

Try put a lot of statues inside . These will boost the posperity greatly .

Thanks, my problem was that all my warehouses were too full to accept pottery
OR clay. Duh! But, anyways, I won! And now I'm on the hilly-native-wolves
mission. Finally! Thanks guys - I loved your quick and thoughtful replies!
