Help, I spent at least an hour cutting down trees (there must be a trick to it
that I don't know). And, I tried building a chairlift with 3 stations. I try
to test it out and I get the following message "Can't test - Ride must start
and end with stations". I have 3 stations and each has an entrance and exit
with the correct paths. I checked to be sure I'm not missing any links and it
looks OK to me. Does anyone know what I did wrong? I have neglected my park
for 3 years while trying to build and fix this chairlift.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
JJ

AFAIK, chairlifts must "shuttle"...the chairs pass back and forth between
two stations on the same line. You don't create a circuit with them. Build
a station, string the wires in between, then build another station. That's
all you need to do.

I think for chairlifts, each station needs at least 2 station squares (and
more leads to more chairs available).

When you click on opening the ride, the game should pan to the trouble spot
-- if it is going to the stations, then this is probably your trouble.

What Jason is trying to say is that you cant build it so that you make a
circle with it. just make a sigle line from one place to another and dont
loop it back.

Thanks for everyone's help. I was trying to make a circle. I got it to work
following your all's guidance..

This game will be the death of me yet. It's midnight and I have to get up by
6. Can't seem to quit. Goodnight.

Another chairlift trick: You can speed it up in the options menu to get
more people through.

Did you click on the 'gears' option on the chairlift window? Check
the operation mode (can't remember the exact wording), you might be
able to change it. e.g. with the go-karts you can have them running
in 'race' mode or 'continuous' mode.

Hope that helps, I haven't tried a chairlift with more than 2
stations so I don't know at the moment.

You need to set it for "Shuttle mode" instead of continuous. That
should do the trick. Continuous mode means the tracks must end at the
same station you started with.
