No, not another plea for a patch, this is regarding the Astral Spell wish.
At 100 gems and 9 Astral required, you'd figure it most be a pretty hefty
spell. When you finally cast it, you get a popup box that asks you what you
wish for, and can enter whatever. If it doesn't understand, it makes you try
again. Haven't seen anyone give a good list of what works, so I guess I'll
go first.

Gold- just gives you 10k gold

Gems - gives you gems.

Artifact - Gives you a random unique artifact. This is pretty funny - if
that artifact exists whoever has it gets a message that it disappears into a
poof of smoke and your hero suddenly has it! Minor bug/weirdness: if you get
the Green Eye, you don't have to lose an eye.

Power - now this can be worth 100 gems if used right. The caster gets +20
strength, +10 attack, +10 defense, +10 precision, and +100 hitpoints.

Fame - 1000 experience.

Hero - get a random hero from any race. The hero shows up as a normal unit,
but loses their magic skills since they are not leaders. If you cast gift of
reason on them, they have no spells available, so this is the same as the
Astral spell Enslave Mind.

(Creature Name) - If you type in a creature name, you get the said creature.
Like hero, they lose all magic. However, if you can cast Gift of Reason,
they still have secondary powers, so Arco Priestesses have heal, etc. You can
even get a Sphinx (makes a nice defender for a castle) or Lord of the Night
(give Black Heart, murder everything).

Food, Wine- get a couple of Cauldrons and a bunch of Wineskins.

Weapons - get a random weapon artifact

Death - well, you asked for it! If he survives, it is pretty funny.

Dominion - your dominion expands greatly that turn

Provinces - a couple of provinces just convert to be yours

Anyone find any others?

I never had the chance to cast it. Can you ask for special attributes?
'Regeneration', 'Immortality' come to mind. Also can you type 2+ words
wishes - eg 'Elemental Immunity'? Or maybe only, say, 'Cold Resistant', as
it is spelled in the attribute description.

I tried Immortality and no. I'll have to try the rest.

Another one:
Army - gives you 300 cheap troops

You can type entire sentences, but what you get can get weird... I
think it triggers on the key words.

troops: 300-450 militia

Magic power: get +1 to all magic levels, up to 10. Ie... The first
time you cast it, Astral goes to 10, and each other goes up one...
This can be repeated...

Gems: Very nifty! Gives 25 of each gem type, including astral.
That's 175 gems for the price of 100 astral. Hell of an alchemy deal.
Note, don't get confused like I did at first and think this means you
can cast it a couple of times to power wishes for other spells... 150
"other" gems gives you 75 astral with alchemy, plus the 25 you get
back in astral, and you're back to your starting 100. Note, this does
NOT give you blood slaves.

Blood slaves: Gives 250, IIRC, which can be wonderful if you don't
have blood magic, or find slaves difficult to get.

Gold: This can be useful... 100 astral, converted to 50 fire, even
with 100% alchemy bonus, that's only 1500 gold... If you're cash
strapped, this'll help.

Pretender name: They're troops, with no magic that I can tell, but
frankly, I love 1. dracolichs, they're cool, and 2. There's something
about calling up the dead gods of your defeated enemies to lead your
own troops... :)

Dominion: I like the message you see.

To the best of my knowledge, you can't change your dominion scales...

The best part about wishing is that everyone sees you doing it. And
frankly, if I ever see someone wish, I'm gonna worry. Some very
powerful things can happen with it.

Note: All of these are 1.5 patch level, the new patch 6 changed
something in the wish spell. Hrm?
