HOMM3-Trading resources?

A friend & I searched the entire interface looking
for a "trade" button, but no go. We could trade
artifacts and even monsters when two heroes met
on the map, but still no dice with resources/gold.
I was under the impression that you could do this...?

You can it's just not documented. :)
Go to any marketplace. In the lower left hand corner there
is a button that will take you to a screen to give resources to
another player.

In the marketplace screen in the lower left corner is a button that allows
you to gift any player with resources or money. Of course that person
doesn't have to gift you back.....
