A partial bounty hunter list:
Name in file: Name (tactical map): Location:
T. Rex Jasmine Grumm (bar)
??? ??? Grumm (bartender)
??? Joe Alma (SE)
(across from Auntie)
MOM ??? San Mona (whorehouse)
(unconfirmed)
Imposter ??? Grumm
(bad Canadian accent)
I'm missing one here... Sorry. Will check the names from the files,
but it should be pretty simple to tell who is who. Only people with
names on their tactical map icons are potential bounty meat.
Be careful. They have all been pretty well armed. Make sure you save
before getting them.

Actually with the exception of the druggist they are random (only
with some constraints). This is from the official strategy guide.
Didn't want you to go on a wild goose chase and find on the second
game everyone in different locations.

High level gives first shot.

It doesn't matter where they are because the location is random. Heck once I

Well then all these guys must be something like level 11! No matter what
I do, if I dont kill them with that first real-time mode shot, they will get
the first turn in turn-based mode and rip one merc to shreds, or at least
leave them 9/10 dead.
Oh, and speaking of that all-important first shot, the criminals will
sometimes react to having the crosshair put over them and just get medieval on
you right then and there. A stun grenade is my favorite first tactic - throw
one from far off with one merc, switch to another while the grenade is still
in the air (this is still in real-time mode, remember) and then put a few
rounds into the bad guy as soon as the grenade goes off.
Throw some marbles at the bounty's feet and wait until he slips or shoot
him in the legs first.

I find a burst of uzi AP ammo from the next square
will disable them on the first shot. Just don't aim
for the head - if you blow up the head, no bounty. :)

You can still aim burst shots at specific parts of the body. I do it
if a merc is close enough that burst shots will be targeted into one
spot. Go to single shot mode, target for the head, then change to
burst fire without moving the targeting cursor and shoot, burst should
all land in the head unless target sways after first shot, or falls
..8-). Kind of cool, when you have
enemy shot in the head
enemy shot in the head
enemy shot in the head
(from an FN-FAL burst to the head and all three shots land)
I've noticed where you place the burst crosshair increases the likelihood
that a shot will hit that location (so with the terrorists--just burst to
the body)...I've found the burst from RT to be an exceptionally effective
tactic.
Tango the target outside (trade places until he is where you want him
to be), to some place in the light. Fire from the darkness.
Or alternately leave the target stanging by/on top of remote detonator
controlled explosives. Soften the target up with the explosives and
finish him off with ease.
I believe the same can be done with gas grenades, but I haven't tried
that yet...
The burst as short range rarely works since the terrorists seem to get
interrupts quite often. If you MUST do that, I would suggest something
more substancial than a SMG. Use a Minimi or a C-7...

I always seem to get one hostile action before they can reply. I use
my highest level (4), highest MKS (96) merc, in best armor (just in case :)
though. After a full uzi AP burst to the torso, they never seem to have
the ability to do anything with the interrupt. >:^)
Small sample size though - tried it twice, worked both times.

Considered using one of the assault rifles, but am conserving ammo for
those at the moment, especially NATO. SMGs hardly get used anymore though.

I killed T-Rex last night with 5 mercs (Custom, Thor, Steroid, Grunty and Blood)
in Chitzena. He was inside a house along with a woman. I got the woman out of
the house and placed four mercs at the windows. Then, Blood threw a stun grenade
at him. It didn't completely stun him, but he didn't get more than two single shots
off. Then he was subsequently perforated by short range bursts and shotgun blasts.
This took one turn. Netted me spectre armor and a couple of Mac 10's. Grooovvy.
My Custom is around level 2 or 3, and the AIM guys haven't really advanced more than
a single level apiece.
