Hmm, how many of the single scenario games did you play and beat
before you started the campaign. If you haven't beaten at least three
or four of those on normal-hard then you probably just haven't had
enough practice.

F2 to chat. Probably your opponent. Not that much bandwidth required
for this game. Did you win? Perhaps your opponent is on to something
and is considering many alternatives and their future implications and
trying to anticipate problems and prepare for them and... well you get
my drift.

I either really suck at this game or there is a glitch. In the Roland
Campaign (Ive never tried Archibald) I cant beat the 4th mission in Homm2
and nearly died in the 3rd! I dont get it! I chose the knight, sorcerress
and wizard and i die every time!! I get some mines build garrison and build
armies and a few heroes and I still get squashed after I walk around the
enemy comes in 8 and 9 and they just sweep the mines and eventually get
strong enough to vanquish my castle! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!
Also... I played some multi player games and I dont know how to chat with

There are numerous HOMM 2 pages out there, try searching for them, you
should find about 7. Most have strategy. There is also a strategy
guide out by Prima.

Press <F2> to chat. This was inadvertantly left out of the manual.
The first turn takes 20 to 60 seconds to transmit. Subsequent tunrs
take less than 5 seconds, so if you're waiting 5 minutes, it's because
your opponent is slow.
