As far as I can tell, Risk 2 will not allow AI players in a
multiplayer game. I sat down with my friend to play on a LAN and we
discoverd we wouldn't be able to play: you need at least three players
for a game of Risk and the computer cannot be included in multiplayer
games.

Hopefully, I'm wrong and I'm missing a simple setting somewhere.
Otherwise, I knew Hasbro would find some way to booger up the game.

I hope this no AI in multi really isn't true. The higher rated AI players
are actually pretty good.

Something else irritating is the zillions of extra clicks on the Done button
that shouldn't be neccessary. For example when somebody attacks you, you
have to click to get each dice roll in the battle. You have no choice. Your
stuck in the battle till the end. Clicking and watching the dice role is not
that exciting. There are lots of other cases where you have to click the
done button for no particularly good reason.

What makes this click-fest even more irritating is that there is no keyboard
equivalent for clicking on the Done button. The spacebar can be used for
speeding up AI - AI battles but it really doesn't speed things up much. The
only other shortcut keys seem to be fore zooming around the map which is
really pointless.

There are a lot of animations that you can't turn off and which slow down
the game. After seeing the same eye candy for the 100th time it looses its
appeal. Even the same time play gets slowed down greatly because of all the
extra clicking and animations.

Risk II really needs a minor patch devoted to speeding play!
