Also, I think you can disassemble some artifacts. What's this about?

Which HOMM3 extension has such artefacts?

Combination artifacts were introduced in the Shadow of Death expansion, and in
the patches for RoE and AB that came out with the expansion. Later patches
removed them from RoE and AB, because of code that didn't work right-
specifically, there was a phantom inventory slot, and you couldn't take them
apart again.
The +6 to all stats artifact, however, is not a combination artifact. However,
the Armor of the Damned and Power of the Dragon Father are combination
artifacts that lock out the sword slot..

Remember- my address is no laughing matter
The +6 artifact is the Helm of Heavenly Enlightenment. I think in another reply
I said it was a sword, but the Sword of Judgement is only +5 to all stats.
Now the Angelic Alliance (which uses 6 slots- sword, armor, helm, boots,
necklace, and shield) gives +21 to all stats, eliminates all morale penalties
for mixing good and neutral troops (castle, rampart, tower, stronghold,
fortress, conflux), AND casts expert prayer before your first turn every
battle.
The endless artifacts and the statue pieces need to be equiped in your
"miscellaneous" artifact slots to work. These are the 4 slots (5 in Shadow of
Death) on the left-side of the paper doll, where medals, orbs, &c. are
equipped.
I guess the artifact must be peculiar to particular hero types. I
don't know whether the enemy hero that I stole it off of got through
the grail or not.

The Power of the Dragon Father is equipped on the body, but you must have *9*
slots available to equip it- head, neck, body, feet, both rings, sword, shield,
and cloak. If any one of those slots, other than the body slot, is occupied,
then you cannot equip it. If the body slot is the only one occupied, then you
can swap the two.
It should actually give +16 to all stats (the combo artifact gives +6, but the
pieces that make it up give an additional +10), and make all your troops immune
to all magic, except level 5 spells.
