Warlords III Darklords online in Gameranger?

Hi, I have a problem to play Warlords 3 Darklords Rising with Gameranger and maybe someone know how to fix it.
When I execute Warlords with Gameranger, the game shows me an error message after I press "Start game" button in the multiplayer lobby.
This is the error message in my PC with Windows 7 Professional 32bit:
"D:\Juegos\Red Orb Entertainment\Warlords III - Darklords Rising\orb was not found"
with a title bar "Darklord" and an "Accept" button.
This is the error message in my notebook with Windows 7 Professional 64bit:
"D:\Juegos\Red Orb Entertainment\Warlords III - Darklords Rising\III was not found"
with a title bar "Darklord" and an "Accept" button.
It's an strange error message and I can't find info about it and it seems I'm not the only one because I saw someone with a similar error in the gameranger forum without answers.
I hope someone an help me. Thank you!

ditch Warlords 3 because it would no longer run on modern OS/computers.
Used to love that game ...
Not sure what the deal is with Gameranger, I've never used them.
Warlords IV runs fine on Win7 Ultimate, but the game mechanics are
totally changed and I never did warm to it.
Maybe the closest a modern game comes are Age of Wonders III, and
(Fallen Enchantress)-Legendary Heroes. Or, if you have Civilization's
expansion Beyond the Sword you can try to install the mod Fall from
Heaven 2 -- which makes for EPIC games.
