I am sure I am stupid and read key command summary but cant find the way to
make left mouse button not work guns and open doors and stuff. Manual calls
it environmental action button but don't see that on keyboard summary. there
is a weird nomenclature on keyboard summary that says something like
0/0/+kpd/ left mouse but wtf does that mean. Help want to do something
besides shoot sometimes!

Yeah, that is some pretty bizarre terminology. Try using the keypad "0"
key. Took me a while to figure that out too.

Typically I reassign it to the middle mouse button on my Mouseman + but stupidly
the game resets my config each time for some dumb reason, which gets really
annoying when I enter the game and forget that it's not set -- keypad 0 for me
doesn't seem to work :(

I remapped mine to the middle button and have had no problems between
sessions. Maybe you should reinstall?

I have a logitech trackman marble.

Keypad 0 didn't work for me either until I remembered to turn on my num-lock,
hopefully that's all it is for you, too. <g>

Well, the manual isn't all that clear about this and a lot of other
things. To open doors, pick locks, diffuse bombs, climb ladders,
or anything else you find you can't do, press the "0" key on your
numerical pad to the right of your arrow keys. It works for me and I
have not done any remapping.

It's easy to sit there and say you'd like to have more money. And I
guess that's what I like about it. It's easy. Just sitting there,
rocking back and forth, wanting that money.

And remember to have num-lock on, or it'll be an INSert instead and
just change ROE modes. Oh, and that's _middle_ mouse button. Left
mouse button is use-item, where item is typically a gun but may be a
grenade or other ordnance.

Are you referring to the demo or the full version? The demo would lose
the new key remapping whenever I would quit, but the full version
retains them for me.
