Hi,

I just want to say that I am very dissapointed in how easy the
Alien City of T'Leth was. This was my first game and I was playing on the
beginner but I was still expecting more confrontation in the final mission
of the game than in a normal mission. I was wrong. I've had recovery
mission where I would shoot down a Hunter or a Dreadnaught and there would
be about 30 aliens all armed with PWTs and Sonic Canons. In all three
levels of T'Leth I've met about 20 aliens, half of them had Thermal Shock
Launchers. I thought that was rather strange.
And again I can't really think of what kind of alien army could
stop 18 marines, wearing Ion Armor and armed with PWTs (8 launchers, 6 bombs
each) and Sonic Canons (10, no extra clips)plus two Displacers. On the second
level of T'Leth I have literally "removed" all walls. Any alien that would
show up behind a corner or be foolish enough to just run out would be blown
to bits in seconds.
I'll start a new game today, on Superhuman, but for some reason I
really doubt that I will get "creamed", the game seemed too easy on the
Beginner.
Anyways, I hope I'm making sense. I just wanted to say that T'Leth
did not turn out to be the challenge I expected.

Downright disappointing is more like it!

Actually, Cydonia was rather disappointing, too.
Of the many games I've played in XCOM1, I've only been to Mars _once_!
The rest of the games, I was contended and having a lot more fun just
sitting around Earth and shooting aliens as they come. :-)

Shooting aliens as they come is a lot more fun in TFTD, too.

My prediction is that you will come severely short. Write back again
when you decide to crawl back to veteran.

Try superhuman. There are 3 aliens for every one in Beginner, they have 3
times the accuracy, more molec power, health and TUs. They'll annihilate
you.
