I wish I could get banks!!
I was sitting on 80 million, probably 30 something yrs into the game and
still no banks!

each time a new bank has been built, I've been notified by a newspaper
report. thus, after a while you should have an idea of where you can
transport valuables to/from (unless of course you have the messages
turned off or ignore them).
I haven't seen any pattern though as to where a bank is created. I have a
game going now well into the 1990's and there are a total of three banks
in the whole game. kind of sucks because I can't keep up with one of them
and I regularly have 400-500 bags piled up waiting to be transported.
perhaps someone out there has a game going with a bunch more banks...
Im into 1964 and the second bank was built. The two banks are 3 citys
apart. The only real problem is the location on the banks make it
imposible to build any stations around them now. The only way is by road
way. Which is a LONG route with many rail crossings [and we know trains
dont stop for trucks aready crossing tracks <g>]. It pays ok right now,
but Im going to have try and work some stations in there somehow or else
have many trucks [8-10] moving those goods back and forth.
