Yes, a long, long time ago I bought a copy of it for IBM after seeing it
on my friend's Amiga. Truly, an amusing game.

Yes, there was a version put out by New World Computing for the ibm. Maybe
they should do a new one based on the original, Nuclear Escalation, and
Nuclear Porliferation.

Uhm, that's wrong. I specifically remember playing it on a friend's
386DX-25. I, too, have been looking for this game for a while now.
There wasn't a whole lot to it, but it was fun, and could be played in
less than 30 minutes...its only flaw was that New World Computing, then
as now, assumed you didn't have any friends and didn't include a
multiplayer mode. Ah, well.

Dimensional Traveler
Multiversal Mercenaries. You name it, we kill it, any time, any reality.
I have a game called Nuclear war. Its a large map with a guy in each corner.
One is Ronald Raygun and Khadafi etc.
You shoot missles at each other or something.
Its for IBMs and it runs on my 486.
I bought it 2 years ago and havent played it for a long time.
Is someone interested in this game?
I would sell it.
Mike.

Not true, i've had it running on 386sx and dx machines. Never tried a
486 though.

Same here, if anybody knows where to find a copy from the internet, a store,
catalog, or have it yourself for sale please mail me. I have been looking
for that game for a couple of years.

IMHO, silly games like this play very well as a social game. Why not buy
the original board game Nuclear War, which is back in print with a couple
of unnecessary expansion sets? It's put out by a company named something
like Flying Buffalo, and is available in gamestores.

You can get it direct from fbuf...@genie.geis.com
The person to talk to is Rick Loomis, but I'm sure he has other colleagues who
will answer your queries.
It's a great card game, so I'm sure the computer version will be just as
comical and entertaining.

The computer version has been out for several years now. The game is
quite funny and playable. Any veterans of nuke war out there who know
the correct combination of faces for the different personalities? I know
militeristic and Tricky Dick. Also the pascitists. You know any others?
EC
Yes, it was. It was an amazingly exact copy, right down the the
Amiga's mouse pointer. This was in the early days of soundcards, though,
and I dont' think the sound support was too good.
Don't have a copy.
