Total Annihilation, mission will not end ????

I am trying to finish the ARM Mission - "The Gate to Thalassean" and I
am running into a bit of a problem. I have killed all the CORE units on the
planet and supposedly captured the "GATE", but the damn mission will not end.
The key I think may settle on the answer to the following question. When
the COMMANDER captures a building what exactly is the action that signifies
that the gate is captured. I have seen a matter (or energy) stream flowing
from the gate to the COMMANDER. When the stream ends no further capture orders
can be given regarding the gate. I thus assume the gate is captured. However
the program refuses to flash the victory message as a result nothing else
happens. Now I have considered the fact that I might have missed a CORE unit,
but after going back and searching the terrain (and adding tons of additional
radar buildings) none have so far been found.
Anyone out there have any suggestions. Is this a bug or did I miss
something major ???? Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

Make sure you actually CAPTURE the gate, and you aren't just standing next
to it. Go to your commander's Orders and click "CAPTURE", then click on the
gate - it'll take about 30 seconds to capture.

You need to think about your victory conditions. They say clearly
that you must build advanced bots as well. After I captured the gate,
the game wouldn't end for me. But when I built the advanced k-bot
lab, I then possessed the ability to build advanced units and the game
closed.
Are you building the advanced k-bot lab?

If a Zipper is considered an advanced K-bot than yes I did build the advanced
lab in the beginning of the game.

You may be up against the 200 unit limit. Reclaim a few units and recapture
the gate.

I Had similar happen on the same level. I ended up building a series
of missile towers around the outskirts of the map. I then noticed one
of the towers firin off map and after a minute the level ended.
It would of been quicker if I just got a bunch of aa rocet k-bots and
walked them around the edges.
