Can Kingpin be assassinated without having to kill his infinite men?
Will this stop his assassination attempts on your men?

The infinite men is a bug and will be fixed in a patch. I'm leaving
Kingpin alone until it's released.

How odd, I snuffed out Kingpin no problem. (easy level).

If you are interested, he died in a rather spectacular manner. I had been
determined to make his death "special" after his hitmen had been bugging my
ass for days.

After slitting the throat of the southern most guard Kingpin awoke to the
sound of a law rocket making a "door" into that side of the house. As the
guards poured out they were treated to two LMG's racking the gap with fire.
His main henchman in particular bit the bullet in a most unfortunate way ,
hit by Shadow with a burst of silenced SMG fire he dropped and was kicked to
death by Sidney.

Kingpin? First a tear gas grenade was lobbed into his room then razor walked
in with a machete. Before Kingpin died the head of his last assassin was
dropped in his lap :) Yup Razor saved it after the assassin gave him a scar
to remember.

This game can be brutal :)

Take a machete or combat knife and use it on the body. Sometimes
it can be difficult to figure out which square to do it on, but a good
rule is the square where they dropped their stuff, if any.
I almost had a heart attack after I killed the Druggist because he
fell behind a bar and I couldn't find the square to cut of his head. I
thought the bar was blocking it but it ended up I needed to do the square
with his feet to cut off his head. Whatever...

I'm not saying you can't kill Kingpin - I'm saying that his men
respawn.

However, they only respawn if you go to the strat map and then back in
to the tacmap (and only in the SW sector of San Mona). There should be
no reason for you to do this. After, finishing the battle, walk around
to locate all the items, bring up the strat map and pick them up from
there and then leave the sector. No reason to return that I can think
of.
