I am trying to get an autoweapons expert with 50 bonus points, and it isnt
easy. The closest I have come is autoweapons and ambidextrous, with 50
bonus points.
olaf
I can get autoweps expert no problem, just never with 50 bonus points. I
wonder if it is even possible. Is the 50 bonus points triggered randomly,
or by some combination of answers?

I would guess that each time you do the quiz it is different. So,
lets say for each answer there is a tendency associated. For question one
maybe choice one tends twoards fighting, choice two tends towards
autoweapons, etc. If you choose one, some range of points will be added
to your fighting total, say 5-10. Each question goes on like this. Then
when you have completed the test, there will be some data like:
Fighting: 22
Throwing: 3
AutoWeapons: 14
...
Psycho: 42
At this point, it would go through the values and see the highest
ones, and those are the ones you get. But since it adds a random amount
for each question, you could answer the questions the same over and over
again and get random results. Of course, if you choose only stealth
answers, you will get stealth, but if you choose a variety of different
ones, you will have a higher chance of being surprised.

2-2-2-1-2 5-4-2-1-1 1-4-1-1-4 1
the meaningful answers are auto weapons 2 times, stealth, loner
and may be (not sure) some personality for Q3.2. I tried it several
times and get normal all the time. I expect to get loner in (at least)
~50% of cases.
There may be other factors I do not know about like how fast you
answer the questions but most probably it is just plain broken.

You'll get 50 bonus for Loner, Pessimist, Arrogant or Unfriendly
personalities. Personality is supposed to be selected by random
from Normal and whatever you chose answering the questionaire.

Well, I can imagine that the folks at Sir-Tech didn't want the
personality test degrade into just a list of numbers you could look up on
the web to get what you wanted. Why go to the trouble of making the test
when people are just going to ignore it and put in the answers that will
get them the munchkin abilities they want?
You say that it is broken; it is not. It doesn't work the way you
want it to. You don't call your car broken when it fails to fly, so you
shoudln't call this test broken.

What I know is there is unofficial patch for Russian version
of the game (1 byte change) which makes personality
selection more linear. Say if you select Loner personality
answer w/o patch I failed to get Loner personality 5 times
in a row with the patch one can get it with 50% probability.
That's why I'm saying most probably it is a bug.

Argh, Terra Virtua dead for good or what? I don't have an answer for your 50
points question really except that it seems like you get 50 points EVERY time
you have a non "normal" personality merc.
Ok, this is one you'll be kicking yourselves over because it's so obvious.
When you have answered the first question and are on the screen for the
second, you will see that the "prev" and "next" buttons are lit up. You can
*SKIP* questions to get your desired results. I can get Stealthy and Thorwing
*EVERY* time by JUST answering the questions that make sense to that type of
character and hitting "next" to avoid the irrelevent ones.
In order to get loner I picked a few (I forget which) sort of random questions
that didn't seem to have any combat relevant answers in them (e.g.: "Your
wife/girlfriend has been gone for 3 hours..." question.) One note is that the
first question DOES count, so for throwing I took Terry Bradshaw. Others may
want to choose "the President" to use a neutral answer...maybe you could try
Clint Eastwood as a gun slinging bad ass? I haven't tried to get anything but
stealthy and either ambidex or throwing, but I can get those easily so I
imagine auto weapons should be too.
For auto weapons expert I have a FEELING that you might have to choose answers
that will make a psycho merc because they are more burst fire minded. And
besides, a laser pointer seems to double my hit rate and range when using
burst and might be a safer obtion. Ice who has auto weapons still seems to
suck with burst mode at range like everyone else.
As for the 50 points thing again, I find that even if I answered the "extra"
questions once one way to get the points, doing the same again didn't work,
even if I answered the questions in about the same time frame. I just try a
certain combo or two and eventually I get it. Skipping most of the questions
makes this a lot less painful too.

I haven't tried autoweapons yet, but here is a 50 point

Skipping questions is a good idea, one that I havent tried. I finally got

ops/autoweps guy. We shall see.
Enjoy

You can get autoweapons expert without going nuts to do it.
You'd be surprised at how easy it it. I didn't write down my answer
sequence, but choose the skills you want
before you answer the questions and then answer accordingly. I've made
characters with Ambidex and Auto
weapons, another with auto expert (if yer an expert, do u only get one
skill?), etc. My current char is Stealthy and Night Ops.
For auto-weapons, choosing Lara Croft/Clint Eastwood, the GunRack of
semi-automatic hunting rifles, and the NRA vs. Congress seems neccessary.

I'm sure there are contractual limitations but the JA2 strat guide
wasn't very good. What is the likelihood of seeing a good "advice

bonuses)?
